Symposium Overview
In recent years, neuroscience has expanded to inform questions in social sciences, from how individuals make economic choices to how cultural values shape political and economic decisions. This symposium brings together leading researchers at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and political science to explore how neuroscience can inform our understanding of emotion and decision-making in social, cultural, and political contexts. This session highlights both the promise and challenges of applying neuroscience to broader social science fields with the aim to advance our understanding of human emotion and decision-making in real world social contexts.
